Fifth floor of the yellow building with the blue railings, the one with the tree out front, on a quiet street. The lift is just inside the gate.
Platypus Stays — Electronic City, Bengaluru
An entire private floor in a quiet building. Two bedrooms, a bright hall, a proper kitchen, and a balcony that saves the best light for the evening.

Six stops. Every corner of the floor is yours, so it all counts.
One home, not a hotel. We set it up the way we keep our own house, then hand the whole floor to you. The lockbox code reaches you before you do.
Sourav looks after the Burrow. Message him on Airbnb for anything at all: extra blankets, dinner recommendations, or which switch runs the geyser. He replies quickly.
Told, with some liberties, by the platypus who lives here.

Fifth floor of the yellow building with the blue railings, the one with the tree out front, on a quiet street. The lift is just inside the gate.

The lift brings you and your bags straight up. The key is waiting in the lockbox by the door. No front desk, no waiting around.

The hall lamp comes on and the whole room warms up. The blue sofa, the peacocks on the wall, a cup of something hot, and nowhere you need to be.

Palm tops, red roofs, and a long slow Bangalore sunset. Bring the chai. This is the part people remember.

Cards on the bed, chess if you mean it, a box of six games in one. A window full of moon over the balcony.

The solar geyser beats you to the hot water. Coffee on, spices out, the pot going. Breakfast the way you have it at home.

And after a good day, a better night. At eleven the next morning the key goes back in the box.
We hope you come back.
Most evenings the sky puts on a show. Taken from the balcony, facing west.
